About Arete Media

"Arete (Greek: αρετη) is a concept in ancient Greek thought that, in its most basic sense, refers to "excellence" of any kind. Especially a person or thing's full realization of potential or inherent function. It may also refer to excellent in moral virtue, or describe excellence AS a moral virtue."

Arete Media is ultimately a confederation of content creators in various forms with the ultimate goal of helping ourselves and those around us expand out knowledge and skills in all forms. While it may not always be obvious how certain things are linked together, often we can find connections if we simply think a little harder.

Arete Media is the product of years of hard work along with disenfranchisement with entertainment as a whole and a desire to create the sort of content the creator wants to make, not the whims of anyone else. Regardless of the type of content, Arete's goal is to help content creators in any way possible to produce, distribute or otherwise help in the content creation process. We believe that freedom to express ideas in all forms is paramount to creating a just and vibrant society.
