#powerrangers has enjoyed almost 30 years of popularity. Since day one Power Rangers has maintained a fanbase across the world, but after 30 years many of the original fans were wanting something a bit darker. This was somewhat achieved in the comics through the shattered grid storyline and the introduction of #lorddrakkon as a villain. Lord Drakkon is an alternate version of #tommyoliver who would also go on to become the #greenranger, but he would stay with Rita Repulsa and ultimately killer her and steal the Green Ranger and #whiteranger powers. Lord Drakkon's armor seems to be combination of the Green and White Rangers along with incorporating other power coins to add to his strength. #jasondavidfrank appeared in an internet trailer to promote #shatteredgrid and this got many fans excited about the possibilities. As of yet, the dark Power Rangers series has yet to come to fruition, but there is hope with Hasbro launching a new series on Netflix soon.
