Florida did not "ban books". A ban is when something is made illegal to own or possess. Every citizen of Florida is legally allowed to own any of the books that were removed from school curriculum and libraries in the state of Florida. The left simply wants to sensationalize something that they do as well in plenty of school districts because they want to appeal to the radical lgbtq+ left.
