🏀 - Daily Wire's Lady Ballers had many good things going for it. The movie is technically sound, with no glaring errors in production. Many of the jokes are legitimately funny no performances are bad and some are quite surprising. Most notably Matt Walsh delivers and excellent and hilarious performance and Jeremy Boreing was a pleasant surprise as well. Ben Shapiro's cameo as the referee takes the cake though. Lady Ballers does, however, suffer from some major errors in the script and character development. There are many tangents that lead nowhere, seemingly for the sake of a one-note joke (Jeremy's character even points this out at one point). Every time the movie almost gets somewhere legitimately heartfelt or narratively necessary, they throw it all away for a joke.
