#dc and #warnerbros made a huge mistake with #theflash #movie and it's not the one you think. It's no secret that Marvel has been dominating DC when it comes to #superheromovies with the exception of #batman in some cases, but those are solo films. Warner Brothers already had the storyline they needed to hit the reset button on their superhero movie franchise and they just squandered it. The #flashpoint story was the shell of The Flash movie, but they went in a completely different direction and took all the terror and heart out of the time travel narrative and instead of a cautionary tale, it was almost all spectacle and an excuse to show us the Nicolas Cage Superman, which was admittedly awesome.
