We were going over Ron DeSantis announcing that he was running for President, but one of the things he was was "Dr. Benjamin Franklin", but we'd never heard of #benjaminfranklin getting a doctorate so we had to investigate like the #history #nerds we are. Turns out Ben Franklin never did get a real doctorate, but he did receive an honorary degree and some people affectionately referred to him as Dr. Benjamin Franklin. So while what DeSantis said wasn't completely false, as a history teacher he should have been a bit more accurate.
