Kids today don't know how difficult it was to be a Dragon Ball fan, or anime fan in general, in the early days of the internet. When Dragon Ball Super premiered, many American had access to the simulcast only hours after an episode was broadcast in Japan. Back in the day, we Dragon Ball Z fans knew Dragon Ball GT existed, but there was almost no credible information. We'd see images of rumored super saiyan transformations, characters, video and audio clips and we had no way of knowing what was real and what was fake. Adding to the confusion was the release of Dragon Ball GT Final Bout for the Playstation before DBZ was even close to finishing its tv run.
