Kamala Harris is now the presumptive Democrat nominee for president

So it's unofficially official. Vice President Kamala Harris has secured enough delegate support to be the presumptive nominee for President in the 2024 election for the Democratic Party. Make no mistake though, the Democrats are far from united. In face, there are many on the left side of the aisle correctly pointing out that it's against Democracy in principle for Kamala to simply be appointed the candidate and not having a Democrat primary. The truth of the matter is though, that since Democrats clung onto Joe Biden for so long, they realistically don't have time to run a proper primary election, even thought there will be more fringe candidates campaigning against Harris to hopefully sway enough delegates in time for the Democratic National Convention in August.
