Originally #funimation contracted Ocean Studios to provide voice actors, but once Funimation decided to start doing the dub in house at the beginning of the Frieza saga, their own actors took over and have voiced the English dubs in North America since. Characters like #piccolo #vegeta and even #goku himself saw noticeable changes in their voices and those differences have grown over time.
