The 2021 #mortalkombat movie is full of problems with the story and characters. It's possible that #raiden may be the biggest error of this movie. In Mortal Kombat 2021 or as we call it, Mortal Kombat Preparation, Raiden's inability to arrive on time sets the entire story in motion. Raiden (who is a god) arrives after Hanzo Hasashi who would become #scorpionmortalkombat and his entire village are killed by #subzero and while it's true Raiden saved Hanzo's daughter, the whole situation could have been avoided if Raiden had been doing his job. Later in the story after #shangtsung deliberately and obviously violates the rules of the tournament, Raiden doesn't kill every single one of them for some reason.
