#mortalkombat 2021 had many issues with how #raiden was portrayed being the biggest one. Raiden is inexplicably stupid in this movie. The rules of Mortal Kombat are repeatedly broken and not only does Raiden not immediately kill everyone representing Outworld, but he continues to go along with the tournament itself, which doesn't even happen in this movie. True, while some of his warriors are dead, #shangtsung is still very much alive after violating the rules. Raiden had an opportunity to save Earthrealm forever and he didn't do it.
