There has been a lot of #rhetoric going around about #rondesantis #banning books in #florida but everyone saying this is completely forgetting that you can't ban books in the United States. Banning books would be a violation of the #firstamendment so there's no way that's what Ron DeSantis is doing. DeSantis and his camp in Florida are simply removing certain kinds of books and media from school libraries pertaining to certain age groups. You may not like it, but it's not the same as the government telling you that you can't read, own or buy a book.
