Dragon Ball Daima has shaped up to be a massive retcon of the Dragon Ball universe. Certain aspects are going back to the roots though. Namekians (namely King Piccolo) started out as demons. Then Piccolo Jr heard teh revelation that he was, in fact, a member of an alien race from a distant planet. Daima then comes around and said, no just kidding, Namekians are demons after all lol.
