Most people are aware of the Marvel Comics vs DC Comics feud, but it goes even deeper when it comes to Captain Marvel vs Captain Marvel. Realistically it's one of the many battles in the fight between DC and Marvel, but it's probably the most unfortunate. Due to some stellar lawerying on Marvel's part, DC had to change their superhero (originally a Fawcett Comics character) to Shazam because Marvel comics now owned the rights to the name Captain Marvel.
