Vivek argues that the 14th Amendment's provision preventing birthright citizenship for the children of foreign dignitaries can be applied to illegal immigrants' children. The problem is that the reason foreign dignitaries are exempt in this case is because they are not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. By that logic, illegal aliens couldn't be prosecuted for entering the country illegally.
