Have you ever wondered what you would do if you woke up suddenly in the world of Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball? Well, many years ago Jake discovered a doujinshi fan manga that explored just that. The hero of the story suffers an accident and wakes up as Yamcha! The kicker is that he still has all of his knowledge of the Dragon Ball universe. Using his knowledge, He makes Yamcha significantly stronger throughout the story and changes many aspects. Yamcha survives the Saibamen and even the fight with Nappa and Vegeta. But there is a darker twist as the story goes that makes this much more than a fan story, it's a truly good one. So much so that Shonen Jump magazine would eventually publish the story as a special treat for fans.
