with the new #captainmarvel #shazam movie in theaters, the character is in the spotlight again. I've liked Shazam (formerly and properly known as Captain Marvel) since the first time I saw him because the character is perfect for adolescent readers. Captain Marvel isn't just representation of what kids want to see, he's one of them. Unfortunately it seems that #shazam2 isn't doing great things for #dc and perhaps this is a sign of superhero movie fatigue. Hopefully Shazam 2 will get us to where we can see a #blackadam cross-over.
