AEW does a lot of backstage brawls, sometimes multiples in the same show, so they were already getting stupid. After Brawl Out and Brawl in (both of which CM Punk was involved in) AEW has officially killed the backstage brawl from ever being used seriously in wrestling. Even after these events happened, AEW continues to do these segments, after they publicly fired Punk and acknowledged that it was because of a backstage altercation.
