Volunteer Don has returned to the Globe Aware Hill Tribes program after 3 years, and here's what he has to say about this kindergarten classroom!
"The kindergarten classroom here at Leadership Home in Thailand is an accident waiting to happen.
This was the first classroom built here seven years ago, and the bamboo floor is falling apart. They can only use half a classroom right now, and even the good half has holes in the floor.
These kids are orphans. They were destined for the child sex industry, even at this age!
I cannot stop child sex trafficking around the world. But I can damned sure make sure these kids, who were rescued from a frightening life, don’t fall through the floor and break bones or worse at their new home.
