The supply of drinking water in Cusco is scarce, so schools require a water reservoir. The school has had one for 20 years, and it's no longer safe to drink from due to its age and deterioration. School officials had prioritized and requested our incoming volunteers to help with the construction for the placement of a donated modern container.
During the pandemic, many students went without education and were reliant on resources from the school. So volunteers worked renovating an additional classroom, storage room, and repairing the building, sidewalks, play area, for safety and accessibility for all the students.
