In the original pilot episode of Star Trek, The Cage, there's an exceptionally strange edit when Captain Christopher Pike is in the illusion on Rigel VII. Vina is trying to get him to hide from the beast and Pike is reasoning everything is an illusion. Then there's a cut to Vina who just makes a very weird face.
