Yes, the acting is strong. The writing is tight. The production quality is top-notch. But what it lacks is the essence of what makes Star Wars… Star Wars. There’s no Force, no sense of myth, no galaxy-spanning adventure. Instead, we get a grounded political drama that, while interesting in its own right, feels out of place in a universe built on wonder, hope, and heroism.
If you love Andor, that’s totally valid. But for us, it just doesn’t deliver on what Star Wars is supposed to be.
