In this movie review, we’re breaking down Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the 2024 supernatural comedy sequel starring Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson. With the Spengler family joining forces with the original Ghostbusters to stop an ancient evil from plunging the world into a second Ice Age, does this movie deliver the laughs, scares, and paranormal action that made the original Ghostbusters a classic?
We’re talking about the movie’s story, characters, nostalgia, comedy, supernatural shenanigans, and everything else that makes this Ghostbusters sequel tick. Does Frozen Empire successfully build on Ghostbusters: Afterlife, or does it get lost in its own giant collection of ghosts, callbacks, and franchise references?
Is this the worst Ghostbusters movie? Is it worse than Ghostbusters II or the 2016 reboot? Or are we being too hard on a franchise that has been chasing the magic of the original for decades?
Join us for our honest, unsparing, and hopefully not-too-haunted review of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire!
