The new Supergirl (2026) movie had so much potential. Milly Alcock is an exciting choice for Kara Zor-El, Jason Momoa is playing Lobo, and the movie is inspired by the beloved Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic. So why did I walk away feeling so disappointed?
In this video, we're breaking down Supergirl (2026) and talking about what worked, what didn't, the characters, the story, the action, Lobo, the changes from the comic, and why this movie ultimately left me frustrated. There are definitely things I enjoyed, but unfortunately, the problems were too big for me to overlook.
And that's the frustrating part... I didn't WANT to hate this movie.
