Today, we’re diving into one of the most gloriously bizarre Japanese tokusatsu movies we’ve ever seen. Karate-Robo Zaborgar has giant robots, karate, cyborgs, explosions, ridiculous villains, bizarre comedy, surprisingly heartfelt moments, and somehow even MORE insanity packed into one movie.
Based on the classic Denjin Zaboga series, this movie is an absolutely wild combination of tokusatsu, superhero movies, giant robots, Japanese sci-fi, comedy, and pure WTF energy. Is it good? Is it bad? Is it both at the same time? Honestly… we're still trying to figure that out.
So come along as we try to make sense of Karate-Robo Zaborgar and figure out why this movie is so wonderfully, hilariously, and undeniably strange.
If you enjoy weird movies, cult movies, Japanese movies, tokusatsu, giant robots, Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Godzilla, bizarre sci-fi, and movies that completely embrace their own insanity, you're definitely going to want to check this one out.
And much, much more!
