[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of bittersweet. I was on vacation last week.

[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_02]: My first cruise ever, fun is how I highly recommend cruises.

[00:01:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I've become a disciple of cruises.

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_02]: So I had a blast, but in my very naive nature, I was like, Oh, I'm going to be able to watch summer slams.

[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm going to get so much work done. I didn't get fuck all done.

[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I did try to watch summer slams and even though I paid out the answer internet,

[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_02]: there was something about streaming.

[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And it was only, it was only peacock.

[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I stream something on Netflix and it was fine.

[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes when I'm watching WVP reviews, the streams a little funky at my house anyway.

[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_02]: And I have like 100 megabit.

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I have like 100 megabit internet.

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_02]: So I think it's just something glitchy with the app, honestly.

[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And then A, WP reviews are a massive pain in the ass because it works fine on my phone.

[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_02]: But if I try to use the app on like my roku for what is that bleacher report,

[00:01:56] [SPEAKER_02]: it's been a while since I bought it.

[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_02]: It lags constantly. I don't know why works fine on my phone.

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_02]: It was Amazon Prime for a minute there and it was only on my Samsung smart TV.

[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_02]: So it in the audio would be out of sync and it would drive me insane because it was just

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_02]: it wouldn't be obvious to everyone. But it was so annoying to me.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_02]: But on every other streaming device I have, it's fine.

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Which that shocked me for Amazon, but I figure it was just like,

[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Samsung app stores trash anyway. So we're just going to not support it.

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yes. So I tried to watch some of this.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I tried to be good and then I told you too what I really wanted to do tonight.

[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_02]: And my plan was because I also had to drive to Chicago today for work.

[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I can watch at least most of that episode of Dynamite for Blood and Guards.

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I wanted to tear blood and guts in Newcastle.

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't get home until after eight o'clock.

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so you weren't missing much to be honest.

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I knew that, but then I heard Jim Cornet review the last match.

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_02]: A.W. needs to think Jim Cornet because sometimes the only reason I even tuned into Dynamite is

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_02]: since I hear him talk about something and I'm like, there's no way it was that bad.

[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I got to watch it.

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_02]: I got to see this.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I had seen the staple spot.

[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_02]: So I was already.

[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I wasn't interested at all, but then I saw the staple spot and I was kind of like, oh,

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't watch that.

[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_02]: But then I heard about the business with Darby Allen getting a title match.

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_02]: It whimbly by threatening the like Jack Perry on fire even though he's used a

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_02]: flamethrower on him in the past.

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_00]: It was all over the place.

[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_00]: It was weird.

[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_02]: That's that's the thing with a W right now is it is just all over the place.

[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_02]: You can't there's no consistency rhyme or reason.

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_02]: It is literally just randomness and not in the good fun way like Deadpool, which that was the other thing.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_02]: It came down to trying to get peacock to work or go watch Deadpool and Wolverine again.

[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_02]: And I very easily elected to watch Deadpool and Wolverine again on the ship.

[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_02]: So that was that was an easy choice, but summer slam appears to be good.

[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So wanted to trash AEW, but again, unfortunately we're going to sing WWE's praises.

[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_02]: So let's get and I think we were right mostly on pretty much all of our predictions.

[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_00]: The match.

[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I think there might have been one that I was off, but we were right in ways that I never expected.

[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_02]: So we were kind of, I remember for the first match because it was live Morgan against re-ripply defending her women's

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_02]: and we were both kind of like live kind of has to win for this to not be weird, but they got to do it in a way that makes sense.

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_02]: They did it in a way that makes sense.

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Holy shit.

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I've said it time and again ever since Triple H took creative and like he didn't take creative control.

[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_02]: But like ever since he was putting charge of creative in WWE, I have learned to just enjoy the ride.

[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I can't predict it.

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't get where they're going sometimes, but I know it's going to be good.

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_02]: This is a perfect example. Introducing live.

[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't random, but some parts of it felt kind of random, but I get it re-aggot interested.

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_02]: They probably had to fast track it, but they did it in a very live winning the title seems random.

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So I'm sure at one point the ref was like, you good and he's like, yeah, I'm good.

[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, but then afterwards they go a legitimate exam and they're like, you're not good.

[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_02]: So he had to drop the title, which is unfortunate.

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_02]: But that's got to suck, especially for not even being in a match for it to be in a, I can backstage angle.

[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_02]: But the way they did it was excellent.

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the exact opposite of AEW where it's like, I know it's coming,

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_02]: but it's because it's obvious because it's like you're not going to have orange cacity,

[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_02]: lose a match on TV unless it's against like Swarve.

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And then they're just not going to put him against Swarve. That's just what they're going to do,

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_02]: which they buried Lance archering in by the way. I guess because they gave him a match against Osprey.

[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Which I don't know why you still there.

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I did want to touch on one thing and I'm glad I went back to my train of thought.

[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_02]: AEW does this thing, you know, a lot of their finishes where and it's so annoying.

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And I know where it started at least as far as what I can point out and probably started earlier,

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_02]: but it started in New Japan and it's one of the few things I didn't like New Japan doing.

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_02]: It works with some of the wrestlers like it kind of worked with Ocata,

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_02]: but here's when they do a finish.

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_02]: So Osprey's finished the elbow or whatever he does.

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the blade. Yeah, he hits a two count hits another one and gets a three count immediately after work.

[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like I thought it was a finisher.

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I did give him a rainmaker.

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_02]: But I guess it would make sense.

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I know if they did it earlier in the match, but they literally do want to run one right after the other.

[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's like, oh, I guess you just didn't do it hard enough for.

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like one to stun them and then the rest to finish them.

[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Ash was finishing them?

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_02]: That tells me one of two things.

[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_02]: One that I mean, just the finishes,

[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_02]: man now in these matches just suck or you need to pick a different finishing move because it's clearly not getting the job done.

[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's kind of like Jericho does a spinning back elbow,

[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_02]: which I will say in terms of a wrestling ring, it doesn't look super impressive or at least it can come off that way,

[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_02]: but having taken a spinning back elbow, it's actually a really good finisher because

[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_00]: it's just that doesn't come flashy.

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a look flashy.

[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_02]: That's just it's actually too effective because if you've ever actually which I have, I have taken one and I'm actually shocked.

[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm surprised it didn't knock me out.

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_02]: As someone who's taken one though, I can say it's if you hit it, it's devastating.

[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like what Sam is saying, he does the blow done a bomb, like every single time and it never does anything.

[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because it's like anybody that has like a 20 minute banger with Braun Braker is going to be big.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Our next match, which we called this one for reasons as well, L.A. night defeats Logan Paul for the United States title.

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_02]: It was just lime and we even I think we said that like L.A. night has been in this match or he's going to lose all of his all of his momentum.

[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_02]: People are going to start saying, yeah.

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And Logan Paul such a novelty he can I get why they put the title on him.

[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't get me wrong.

[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I get it and it was a good run, but Logan Paul's one of those people.

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And he's now demonstrated that he is that good.

[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_02]: He's one of those people that you can put in any time basically anywhere.

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_02]: They could have proved that when he had the world title match with Roman and it was actually good.

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_02]: It was really, really good.

[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_02]: So it had soft to that.

[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I said, I haven't watched Summer slam but oh you did how was it?

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like to have something like a 60 man Iron Man match, which I always point to, you know, Bretton Sean because they do something amazing in that there are periods of minutes where their exhausted exhausted.

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's not like some of the more indie rifick stuff where they I mean, and that's impressive.

[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And if you do not get me wrong, being able to go for any form of cardio where you're moving for 60 minutes straight is.
