[00:14:42] One important thing to note is that the new girl and her two best friends

[00:14:48] They are also witches

[00:14:50] Yes

[00:14:51] So they have been socially ostracized because they're weird

[00:14:54] And they collect rocks and they do spells

[00:14:57] And the one friend, they are, they have had a

[00:15:00] But I don't think that, if I remember correctly

[00:15:03] I don't think that they know that they're witches until like the middle of the movie or something

[00:15:14] And they are friends or they, they visit a magic shop owned by this guy who he, he's a magic, like a stage magician who like his job is to basically tell, to recap you from the first movie

[00:15:29] He has a whole scene where he just says the plot and the events of the first movie over again, in case you forgot them

[00:15:35] And he gives them a candle that they, they basically do this like ritual every year on their birthday and they light it and that's the new version of the black candle which then brings them back

[00:15:47] So basically, that's the first movie

[00:15:52] So basically the first movie

[00:15:54] So who's their cat?

[00:15:58] They don't have a cat

[00:15:58] Well, their cat is, I guess their cat would be the, the, the guy who owns the magic shop

[00:16:10] There's like literally a line in this movie where he says, no, they're not evil, they're just misunderstood

[00:16:23] Right, and then there's like this weird part

[00:16:26] Who eat them, who eat kids

[00:16:27] Right, and then there's this like, this weird part where like, the, the guy that owns the shop like, ends up doing, like doing all three of the witches bidding basically

[00:16:40] But it's, and then he changes sides at the end, but he never explained how or when

[00:16:45] He's out of nowhere, he's like, I'm on your side now

[00:16:58] This isn't directed only at Disney, but primarily at Disney

[00:17:06] And why they don't understand that this is why, generally speaking, their movies aren't as loved as they once were

[00:17:12] Because, all the villains are being given the Maleficent treatment

[00:17:16] And don't get me wrong, a complex villain with complex motivations can be interesting when it's done well

[00:17:21] But making every single villain a gray villain and not, you know, a black and white villain

[00:17:28] Especially with movies like Hocus Pocus

[00:17:30] Yeah

[00:17:32] The witches, like the witches can't be redeemable characters

[00:17:35] It doesn't, the story doesn't work then

[00:17:38] That's the thing is they're not in this movie

[00:17:40] Because they are for the first like 10 minutes of it

[00:17:42] Where they have a 15, 20 minute backstory sequence

[00:17:45] Where you get to see them as children

[00:17:47] Where it says she's 16, but I swear she doesn't look 16

[00:17:55] And that's why they got kicked out of the town and all that sort of stuff

[00:17:59] But then it hard cuts to later in the movie

[00:18:01] And they're just like they were in the first movie

[00:18:05] Only to end with, they have this big emotional scene

[00:18:46] And in order to do this spell, you have to sacrifice the thing that you love

[00:18:54] All the bad, all the badness that they do in the first movie

[00:18:57] And then they go to cast this spell

[00:18:59] And it makes the other two witches disappear
