[00:00:00] This podcast is brought to you by the Foundation for World Harmony.

[00:00:05] Come with me to discover the transformative power of kindness and the joy it brings.

[00:00:11] Join me as we explore every Monday morning simple yet profound ways to elevate your happiness one gesture at a time.

[00:00:34] Welcome to another episode of The Complete Guide to Kindness.

[00:00:39] Today we're going to mix it up a little bit. There's not an interview.

[00:00:43] It's just something that might make you happy, made me happy to see it.

[00:00:48] Because the secret to life is jumping out of bed and doing something that you love.

[00:00:53] And these performers you're going to see, I'm sure, jumped out of bed the morning that they did this.

[00:00:59] A couple weeks ago during Halloween. It was a Halloween party at Cowable Farms here in Antigua.

[00:01:05] And I'm sure they jumped out of bed because they knew they were going to be performing that night.

[00:01:10] And making a lot of people happy.

[00:01:12] So I hope this makes you happy because they're gorgeous women.

[00:01:16] Now if you're guys that are into women, you're going to love this.

[00:01:19] If you're women that are into women, you're going to love this.

[00:01:21] Even kids to see these people spinning in the air, twirling fire, juggling fire.

[00:01:28] I mean, it was quite a show. And the good thing about it, it's free for you because I've traveled the world.

[00:01:35] And I paid admission to zoos and museums and events and all the different kinds of things.

[00:01:41] So you can enjoy it. And I'm still doing it even though I'm not traveling that much.

[00:01:45] You know, I'm living here in Antigua, Guatemala, and everyone comes here.

[00:01:49] That night I made a lot of new friends, new ambassadors.

[00:01:53] Introduced the Be Fantastic philosophy to a lot of people.

[00:01:56] But you know, doing something that you love, it's got to be the best thing in life.

[00:02:01] And that's what you got to try to figure out what to do.

[00:02:03] A lot of people do things for money and I don't recommend it.

[00:02:06] Money's nice, buys you nice things.

[00:02:10] But I've never seen a funeral.

[00:02:13] I've never seen a hearse going down the street with a U-Haul attached to it.

[00:02:17] Because you can't take it with you.

[00:02:19] So enjoy every day as though it's your last.

[00:02:22] Because one day it will be your last.

[00:02:24] But luckily today is the first day of the rest of your life.

[00:02:29] So enjoy this show.

[00:02:31] Please like, subscribe, and share.

[00:02:33] Because we need to make the world a kinder place.

[00:02:36] And if you're kind, it will lead to happiness.

[00:02:41] Making other people kind will make you happy.

[00:02:45] Look how happy I am.

[00:02:46] I mean, I've made a lot of people happy by being kind to them.

[00:02:51] By telling them how to be kind to themselves.

[00:02:54] How to be kind to others.

[00:02:56] And how to be kind to our Mother Earth.

[00:02:58] You know, some people just don't get it.

[00:03:01] That's okay.

[00:03:02] I can't make everyone happy.

[00:03:03] No matter what you do in life, you're going to piss someone else off.

[00:03:07] You know, I actually had to kick out one of my ambassadors for the first time.

[00:03:13] Or maybe the second time.

[00:03:15] I interviewed him for this show actually.

[00:03:17] And I had to throw away the video because this person is a horrible person.

[00:03:25] Anyone who advocates death to someone that doesn't do something that they like is a horrible human being.

[00:03:32] And there's a lot of horrible people out there.

[00:03:34] There's a lot of warmongers.

[00:03:36] There's a lot of greedy people.

[00:03:37] There's a lot of stupid people.

[00:03:39] And distance yourself from those kind of people.

[00:03:42] Delete negative people and negative thoughts from your life.

[00:03:47] Because they're cancerous to your health.

[00:03:50] The secret to being happy is surrounding yourself with happy people.

[00:03:53] With kind people.

[00:03:55] With loving people.

[00:03:56] With intelligent people.

[00:03:58] I love intelligent people.

[00:04:00] I used to have a friend that would never hire someone with a college degree.

[00:04:03] Because he didn't have one.

[00:04:04] And he felt inferior.

[00:04:11] Than me.

[00:04:12] And I don't know.

[00:04:13] Maybe I'm a sick person.

[00:04:14] I don't know.

[00:04:15] But I love meeting intelligent people.

[00:04:18] I love interviewing intelligent people on this podcast.

[00:04:22] On my past TV shows and radio shows.

[00:04:25] And just in life.

[00:04:27] Everyone has a fantastic story.

[00:04:28] You have a fantastic story.

[00:04:30] So I would like to invite you as well to be a guest on this show.

[00:04:34] If you'd like.

[00:04:36] A lot of people don't like exposure.

[00:04:37] And that's fine.

[00:04:39] Do what makes you happy.

[00:04:41] That's the whole secret to life.

[00:04:43] Whatever is making me happy.

[00:04:45] Keep doing it.

[00:04:46] And like if I get bored with doing this show.

[00:04:48] I'll stop doing it.

[00:04:49] Because unless I'm happy.

[00:04:51] I won't do it.

[00:04:52] I've done so many things in my life.

[00:04:54] And I never did them to make money.

[00:04:56] I made a lot of money.

[00:04:57] At times.

[00:04:58] And sometimes I didn't.

[00:04:59] But I always enjoyed what I did.

[00:05:00] Whether it was driving an Uber.

[00:05:02] Or driving a limo.

[00:05:04] Or flying a plane.

[00:05:05] Whatever I did to make some money.

[00:05:07] I had fun.

[00:05:09] And that's what you want to do in life.

[00:05:11] Jump out of bed in the morning.

[00:05:12] Looking forward to your day.

[00:05:14] You're going to.

[00:05:14] Because you're going to have some fun.

[00:05:16] You're going to do it well.

[00:05:17] Someone's going to pay you for it.

[00:05:19] Don't jump out of bed for money.

[00:05:20] You're going to regret it.

[00:05:21] And regret is really a caustic word.

[00:05:25] Because to have regrets in life means you didn't make the right decisions.

[00:05:30] Probably.

[00:05:30] But know that every decision you do make is correct.

[00:05:33] You've got to believe in yourself.

[00:05:35] You've got to love yourself.

[00:05:37] Accept you as you are.

[00:05:38] I can't do anything about being bald.

[00:05:40] I love being bald.

[00:05:41] I don't have to buy a comb or a brush or shampoo.

[00:05:44] It's like.

[00:05:45] It makes.

[00:05:46] I love my life to be easy.

[00:05:49] And then when I started this podcast.

[00:05:50] They wanted me to do a format.

[00:05:53] Which I'm doing.

[00:05:53] Because these shows have a segment for me introducing the show.

[00:05:58] Then the interview.

[00:06:00] Then the cooking.

[00:06:02] We may or may not.

[00:06:03] I haven't decided yet to do a cooking segment on this show.

[00:06:09] Maybe it will.

[00:06:09] Maybe it won't.

[00:06:10] I still decide.

[00:06:12] Because it was a lot of.

[00:06:13] You can see a lot of music.

[00:06:16] Hear a lot of music.

[00:06:16] And see a lot of beautiful women and guys having fun on stage.

[00:06:22] It really is a fun show.

[00:06:24] So without further ado.

[00:06:25] Let's get to the action.

[00:06:27] Enough listening to me.

[00:06:29] Right?

[00:06:29] And have a fantastic show everyone.

[00:06:32] Have a fantastic day.

[00:06:33] Life.

[00:06:34] Week.

[00:06:34] Month.

[00:06:35] Be fantastic.

[00:06:38] Okay.

[00:06:39] This is the scene.

[00:06:40] This is the setting.

[00:06:43] Pretty girls are going to be dancing.

[00:06:45] And they're going to have a fire show.

[00:06:48] And this is a nice little crowd here.

[00:06:52] Look at that.

[00:06:53] Nice crowd.

[00:43:31] Fantastic interviews with amazing people.

[00:43:34] This is National Parks.

[00:43:40] Special events.

[00:43:48] Motivate.

[00:44:08] Scantily clad women and firefighters and dancers.

[00:44:12] To me it was a fun night.

[00:44:14] It's just I thought it might make you happy to watch some very talented people have fun on stage.

[00:44:21] Now it is time for cooking with Dr. Fantastic.

[00:44:26] Fantastic.

[00:44:27] And it won't be as sexy as that but it'll be fun.

[00:44:31] I hope you're enjoying the cooking episodes.

[00:44:33] Hope you're enjoying the interviews.

[00:44:34] I've got some really incredible interviews coming up.

[00:44:37] So tune in every week.

[00:44:39] Like, subscribe and share of course.

[00:44:41] And now let's get to the cooking.

[00:44:44] Let's get to the cooking.

[00:44:45] Welcome to VIA presents Dr. Fantastic in the kitchen.

[00:44:50] I'm in Cairo, Egypt in the Heritage Hostel Hotel.

[00:44:55] And it is a fantastic hostel.

[00:44:57] I've got to tell you.

[00:44:58] It's about my eighth day in Cairo.

[00:45:00] So I finally decided to do a little cooking.

[00:45:03] And of course, you know, the first ingredient that I like to do is a nice cocktail.

[00:45:09] I had a fantastic day at the Giza Zoo.

[00:45:12] You've got to check out this episode.

[00:45:14] They treated me like a celebrity there.

[00:45:16] They interviewed me.

[00:45:17] I interviewed the director.

[00:45:19] I worked with the PR person.

[00:45:21] Gave me a personal tour.

[00:45:22] I had guards.

[00:45:23] Whole nine yards.

[00:45:24] It was fantastic.

[00:45:25] You've really got to check it out.

[00:45:26] Fantastic zoo.

[00:45:27] So having a vodka Coke or Pepsi.

[00:45:32] They make their own vodka here in Egypt.

[00:45:35] Delicious.

[00:45:41] So, I've got to tell you.

[00:45:42] Last night, my friend Kamal, he works with the government, the parliament,

[00:45:48] and he invited me to dinner.

[00:45:51] It was a fantastic meal.

[00:45:55] And you can see it in the previous YouTube.

[00:45:59] By the way, I lost my voice yesterday and today.

[00:46:02] It just came back.

[00:46:03] So I'm very happy for that.

[00:46:05] So this restaurant does not have a name.

[00:46:07] It's been around 30 years.

[00:46:08] Only the real savvy locals know about it.

[00:46:12] And we had a meal that had chicken and camel.

[00:46:15] I had camel for the first time.

[00:46:16] And it had two soups.

[00:46:18] It had their salads.

[00:46:19] It had side dishes.

[00:46:22] And you can see it on the video.

[00:46:25] Delicious.

[00:46:27] 110 crown, which is about $8 US for two of us.

[00:46:33] So after that meal and the price, I said, I'm going to order some to go.

[00:46:37] And I did.

[00:46:39] Of course, I ordered the lamb, which I like, and chicken.

[00:46:42] And it was twice that much.

[00:46:44] So I spent another $20 or $16 for it to go.

[00:46:48] And that's what I'm going to prepare tonight.

[00:46:51] The salad.

[00:46:53] This is the salad they made.

[00:46:55] Oh, my goodness.

[00:46:56] Look at this guy.

[00:46:57] Just so many fantastic things in it.

[00:46:59] It's amazing.

[00:47:01] So as you know, you don't always have to cook.

[00:47:04] Sometimes you order things to go.

[00:47:07] And that's what I did here.

[00:47:08] So that salad is, I mean, it's got the greatest dressing.

[00:47:13] It's just delicious.

[00:47:14] So the salad's made.

[00:47:16] I'm not sure what this is.

[00:47:17] They just gave this to me.

[00:47:19] I don't remember ordering it.

[00:47:21] Oh, it's kind of hot pepper.

[00:47:30] Ooh, gotta be careful what you eat sometimes.

[00:47:32] Hot pepper.

[00:47:33] It looks like, I want to say, oh, it's like an okra or a vegetable.

[00:47:46] Pickled.

[00:47:47] Quite nice.

[00:47:49] It's like an okra.

[00:47:54] Okay.

[00:47:55] So now, because I had a cam.

[00:47:57] I should have ordered a camel because the camel was off the charts delicious.

[00:48:02] Never had such a tender meat in my life.

[00:48:05] So, I ordered some food to go.

[00:48:07] I ordered a chicken and lamb.

[00:48:10] Now, lamb was expensive.

[00:48:12] So there's a leg of lamb.

[00:48:14] Look at that, guys.

[00:48:17] I'm not sure how I'm going to prepare this quite yet.

[00:48:20] But we'll see what it is.

[00:48:22] And the chicken was a shish kebab.

[00:48:24] Look at the bread they give you.

[00:48:26] The funny part of the restaurant is, you get a basket of bread.

[00:48:28] You know, this is a basket of bread, let's say.

[00:48:31] And then, you know, you take the bread and you get a little piece of it.

[00:48:38] And some pieces will end up back in the basket.

[00:48:41] Then you leave.

[00:48:42] So as we're preparing our table, he gets the used ones and takes them off.

[00:48:47] You never see that in America.

[00:48:49] And the fresh ones there.

[00:48:50] But he did bring other fresh ones.

[00:48:52] So, it was all fine.

[00:48:55] Look at that.

[00:48:55] Look at that, guys.

[00:48:56] This is, all this chicken, kebab, looks like different meats.

[00:49:05] All that for $8.

[00:49:08] Are you kidding me?

[00:49:12] I bought some avocado the other day.

[00:49:20] I was going to add that to the salad.

[00:49:22] Can't go wrong with avocado.

[00:49:25] You know, I always like adding things.

[00:49:27] Like when I do my soups, even if it's just ramen, I add vegetables to it, you know?

[00:49:36] So, I throw a little avocado in there.

[00:49:38] It makes it even better.

[00:49:41] The meeting with this restaurant was so delicious.

[00:49:45] Now, I don't normally cook with the microwave, but I think I'm doing a little microwave for

[00:49:52] tonight just to make it easy and fast.

[00:49:54] But, I just wanted to share, tonight's episode is really just sharing my experience.

[00:50:03] Just sharing my experience eating in Cairo.

[00:50:06] You know, they do have the Kentucky Fried Chicken and the Pizza Hut and the McDonald's.

[00:50:10] You know, you don't go to Cairo or when I was in Ukraine to eat at Fast Food for America.

[00:50:18] That's what you don't want to do.

[00:50:20] Oh, sometimes you do crave that.

[00:50:22] But, I think that this lamb, my goodness, that's a lot of meat.

[00:50:30] Oh, man, what a feast.

[00:50:37] Now, we serve beans and some soups.

[00:50:45] So, what I'm going to do tonight is I'll get some chicken.

[00:50:50] Here's what I'm going to do for tonight.

[00:50:55] Show you how easy this is.

[00:50:56] It's a delicious meal.

[00:50:58] You don't know how good that tastes.

[00:51:03] So, I'm going to take a piece of the lamb.

[00:51:06] This chicken you can eat anytime.

[00:51:09] Take some of the lamb.

[00:51:11] Slice it thin.

[00:51:13] There's an old bowl.

[00:51:30] How do you do this?

[00:51:31] Okay, there we go.

[00:51:35] I'm going to microwave it.

[00:51:36] So, there's a little heater here.

[00:51:43] So, what I'm going to do with the bread, because I really don't like microwaving bread.

[00:51:47] You know, it gets soft and doughy.

[00:51:49] So, like when I get a tortilla, you'll see, I'll just put it over the flame and heat it up.

[00:51:56] I don't know if you can see this or not, but, ah!

[00:51:59] I'm just getting it a little soft.

[00:52:05] You don't want to microwave bread.

[00:52:08] And that's why you microwave hamburgers and things.

[00:52:10] They don't always come out that well.

[00:52:12] So, you just want to heat up.

[00:52:21] So, what I'm going to do here, nice and warm.

[00:52:29] You know, I can never tire a chicken here.

[00:52:31] They had a, um, it was a, um, barbecue that they were cooking the little chicken on.

[00:52:40] You know, cold meat, the flavors of Egypt.

[00:52:50] Okay, so, take your nice warm bread.

[00:52:57] Sometimes it's easier just to slice off the edge like that.

[00:53:03] Right?

[00:53:04] Nice and warm.

[00:53:06] This is a nice pepper.

[00:53:08] It's got a nice spice to it.

[00:53:10] I have no idea what it is.

[00:53:15] So, as you might know, as you should know, I've got some great videos of the pyramids.

[00:53:21] I went inside the pyramids.

[00:53:23] I, um, paid for the private tours, the buggy, the, the, the, the, the, the, the camel ride.

[00:53:34] So, I'm putting this salad into the little pocket there.

[00:53:40] Then I'm going to take the meat.

[00:53:43] I've been eating so much lately, it's ridiculous.

[00:53:47] Just place it in there like that.

[00:53:49] Oh, hot.

[00:53:51] Ah, nice and hot.

[00:53:52] Ah.

[00:53:55] And then you've got a lamb.

[00:54:00] Mmm.

[00:54:01] Mmm.

[00:54:02] I live in large in Cairo.

[00:54:11] I've got to stop eating so much.

[00:54:12] It's so, it's so much food.

[00:54:17] Ice, what is this?

[00:54:18] Is it a pickle?

[00:54:23] A pickle, yeah.

[00:54:24] It's a pickle?

[00:54:24] Yeah.

[00:54:25] Salted one.

[00:54:26] This is a pickle.

[00:54:28] It's a what?

[00:54:29] Salted.

[00:54:30] Salted?

[00:54:30] Yeah.

[00:54:31] Salted pickle.

[00:54:33] Mmm.

[00:54:34] Delicious.

[00:54:35] And this is a hot pepper?

[00:54:36] Yes.

[00:54:37] Hot pepper.

[00:54:40] This is a leg of lamb?

[00:54:42] Yeah.

[00:54:43] That's really tasty.

[00:54:44] It's very tasty, yes.

[00:54:46] The camel was unbelievable.

[00:54:48] Ice is my host.

[00:54:49] He's the, he runs the best hostel in Cairo.

[00:54:52] Cairo, it's across the street from the Cairo Museum.

[00:54:56] About a half, less than a half a mile from Tahir Square.

[00:54:59] The most famous square in all of Egypt.

[00:55:02] And it's literally the cleanest hostel I've ever seen in my life.
